Meagan Langfield, Child Therapist Milwaukee

Meet Meagan Laskowski - Child Therapy

pronouns: she/they

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 8 years of specialized experience in infant and early childhood mental health. My journey began during my Master’s program at Marquette University, where I honed my skills in family mental health at the Behavior Clinic at Penfield Children’s Center, continuing at Children’s Wisconsin as a Child Therapist.

As an Infant Mental Health Endorsed-Clinical therapist, I am dedicated to supporting parents and caregivers through the unique challenges of raising young children. My approach emphasizes caregiver attachment and relationships to heal trauma, drawing from extensive training in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Early Pathways, and Theraplay.

I specialize in working with infants and young children up to age 6 who have experienced hardships such as the loss of a family member, ongoing stress at home, parent/caregiver separation, adoption/attachment trauma, NICU stays, or ongoing medical needs. Areas of interest of mine include working with caregivers around attachment to their children, emotional regulation, and difficult behaviors. I offer a range of therapeutic modalities, from parent-only sessions to dyadic sessions involving both parent and child, fostering emotional regulation and familial healing.

My practice integrates developmental theory, psychodynamic theory, attachment-based therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. Additionally, in some cases, I incorporate therapy dogs to address anxiety and dog phobias, enhancing therapeutic outcomes.

At the core of my practice is creating a non-judgmental and collaborative therapeutic space that prioritizes safety, growth, and positive change. I understand the challenges families face in finding appropriate support, especially with young children, and I am here to provide guidance and support throughout your journey.

Rockney is a teen therapist who supports adolescents, teen boys, young men, and adults through trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, wellness-focused counseling, and practical behavior change.

Meet Rockney Hudson - Teen & Adult Therapy

pronouns: he/him

Hello, I’m Rockney Hudson, and I’m excited to be a part of your healing journey. With over a decade of experience as a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, I specialize in empowering individuals, families, and communities through therapy. My approach combines client-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to meet your unique needs and help you navigate challenges.

I’m passionate about trauma-informed care and use EMDR to help you move past traumatic events. My previous roles, including Program Manager at St. Charles Youth and Family Services and Care Coordinator at Alternative Psychological Consultations, have allowed me to work extensively with at-risk youth, individuals with mental health and substance abuse challenges, and victims of violence.

My therapy style is collaborative and supportive. I work with you to set practical goals, develop coping strategies, and create lasting change. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Sady, attending concerts, and working on cars and motorcycles. I’m looking forward to supporting you on your path to healing.

Meet Ashlea Kielar - Adult Therapy

pronouns: she/her

I want to take a moment to acknowledge your bravery in making it to this stage of your journey. There is a good chance that you came across this page because you’re currently carrying something heavy. Maybe it's related to experiences you encountered long ago, or some more recent. It could be that you’ve noticed a change in your relationships or a loud inner-critic that seems to linger. Perhaps you feel disconnected from yourself and desire to feel more confident in all aspects of your life. You’re not alone.

As a licensed professional counselor in-training, I strive to offer a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore themselves and navigate the complex impact of trauma. I recently graduated with my Master of Science in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. For the past year, I have undergone training with the Aurora Healing Center, specializing in working with those from the Milwaukee community to overcome the impact of trauma related to sexual assault and domestic violence.

My approach is collaborative and rooted in the belief that everyone carries the inner strength to heal. I specialize in trauma and its expressions, including relational wounds, chronic self-doubt, and trouble with boundary setting. I am also passionate about supporting women through life transitions, identity exploration, and the challenges that come along with perfectionism. For those that may have explored talk-therapy in the past, and did not feel it was enough to get to the root of what you’ve been feeling, I offer Brainspotting as a part of my trauma-informed services. This intervention is a powerful, neuroscience-based technique that allows for us to access and process trauma stored deep within the brain and body. Together, we’ll work to process your story in order to explore who you are and who you wish to become.

After reading this, if you feel ready to begin your healing journey- or are curious about what it may look like- I would be honored to walk beside you as we tackle the goals you bring to this space. You deserve to feel whole, worthy, and empowered to live authentically without the weight of the past holding you down.

Madisen Stoler is a therapist at Forward Healing Therapy who supports clients navigating grief, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, negative self-talk, and patterns that feel difficult to break. She offers a warm, supportive environment where clients can slow down, better understand their emotional world, identify their needs, and begin to release what feels heavy.

Madisen is especially passionate about working with people who feel deeply. This includes clients who are grieving, moving through major life changes, struggling with emotion regulation, or feeling stuck in old stories, self-criticism, or unhelpful relationship patterns. Her approach is compassionate, curious, and collaborative, helping clients build grounded confidence and move toward a life with more joy, purpose, and intention.

Madisen draws from therapy approaches such as EMDR therapy, grief counseling, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Through this work, she helps clients process painful experiences, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with themselves.

From Madisen:
“I strive to create an affirming and inclusive therapy space where all identities are welcomed and respected. I believe you already hold wisdom within yourself, even if it feels hard to access right now. I'd be honored to walk alongside you in the hard but meaningful work of healing and growth.”

Therapy is a very personal process, and finding a therapist who is a good fit is essential.

We provide a judgment-free, supportive space, where you are the most important person in the room.
